Chandigarh: Youngsters now have a platform to display their talent. Budding poets Sharad Choudhary adn his associate Nitin Bhalla have launched a community website. Magazines and newspapers tell you how to write well, but not much help exists on writing poetry. All that will change with SayPoetry.com

Choudhary and Bhalla are working as Medical Representatives with MNCs, but htey have been interested in poetry since childhood. Sharad even writes his own poetry. He has contributed few of his compositions, in his new website. Discovering Love is among his favorite compositions. These guys also have full-time jobs with GlaxoSmithKline and AstraZeneca. They have been working on this project for the last six months and successfully launched the website on Tuesday.

The objective behind the launch of this website is to bring the creative, technical and innovative intelligence in all relationships to life. It is based on the poetry and quotations of world-renowned poets like William Wordsworth, Shellwy, Robert Frost and others. There are about 50 poets that are covered in the petry segment, to begin with, but further plans are on to introduce more.

The website is available in English right now, but they might be adding other regional languages as part of their future plans. This site is the only Indian website dealing with poetry in English, they claim. "We need creativity to grow in this noble profession." believes Sharad.

Visitors can publish their personal compositions on this website by creating their own usernames and following the required procedure. For the introduction of their website, the duo has even organised poetry contests on the website itself, based on a monthly theme. For instance,' current points of interest include Theme Poetry Contest, with the theme of Love And Friendship. Poetry and quotations form the main content of this website, but later, it will also contain music and stories.
